Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 22, 2026 · Effective for Follitude version 1.0 and later
Summary
Follitude does not have an account, a server, or a sync service. Everything you enter — your cycle log, medications, monitoring visits, journal entries, benefit profiles, cost estimates, and funding scenarios — is stored only in this app's own storage on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and Follitude has no way to see, collect, or transmit your data, because it never sends it anywhere.

No account identifiers, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers are collected by Follitude. Follitude does not know who you are.
What Follitude Does Not Do
- No analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party trackers of any kind.
- No advertising, and no ad SDK.
- No network request of any kind is made by Follitude's own code. The app works fully offline, including Airplane Mode, on every screen.
- No data is sold, rented, or shared with any third party, because none is ever collected in the first place.
The Only Two Exceptions: Purchases and Reviews
Follitude offers an optional "Follitude Pro" upgrade (a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase) and an optional "Write a Review" button in Settings. These are the only two features that talk to a server, and in both cases it is Apple's or Google's server, not Follitude's:
- Purchases and restore. Handled entirely by Apple's StoreKit (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). Apple/Google process your payment and purchase record directly; Follitude only receives back a confirmation of which product you purchased, which it caches locally to unlock Pro features. - Write a Review. Opens Apple's or Google's native in-app review prompt, or their store listing page as a fallback. This is a user-initiated action from Settings only — Follitude never triggers it automatically.
Exporting or Sharing Your Data
Follitude includes an optional local backup export and PDF export/share feature. Both are entirely user-initiated: nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly tap "Export" or "Share" and choose a destination yourself (e.g., email, Messages, a file app, AirDrop) through your device's own share sheet. Follitude has no visibility into where you choose to send an exported file. The backup export never includes your purchase/entitlement state — a backup file, by itself, cannot grant Pro access.
Deleting Your Data
Settings → "Delete All My Data" erases everything listed above from your device and resets the app to its first-run state. This is instantaneous, entirely local, and requires no network access or account. Uninstalling the app achieves the same result — there is no server-side copy for Follitude to separately delete, because none exists.
Deleting your data does not affect a previously purchased Pro entitlement, since that record is held by Apple or Google, not by Follitude; "Restore Purchases" in Settings can re-apply it if desired.
Children's Privacy
Follitude is not directed at children and is not designed for use by children. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, child or adult, because it does not collect data from anyone at all.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the "Effective date" above will change, and the new version will be published at this same URL. Material changes will also be reflected in the app's own About screen, which is bundled with the app and readable offline.
